The dark green eggs cost a life if you catch them, and cost nothing if you let them splat. Missing a good egg is what hurts.

Why the barnyard is the fun part

Chicken Crazy is an arcade game about one very simple pressure: eggs are falling, and there is only one hen. Nothing in it needs a tutorial. You see something drop, you get under it, you either had the reflex or you didn't — and then you immediately want the next one.

What keeps it going is the mess around that. Eggs ricochet, feathers drift through the frame, the worlds get louder and brighter as you push on, and the moment you think you have the rhythm the board hands you something you weren't watching.
